After Bihar's 14-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 190 runs off 84 deliveries in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Wednesday, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor urged India call-up for the teenager. Tharoor wrote, "The last time a 14-year-old showed such prodigious cricketing talent, it was Sachin Tendulkar...and we all know what became of him. What are waiting for? Vaibhav [Sooryavanshi] for India!"
