Hearing on the podcast that his host, Raj Shamani, grew up in a joint family of 10, with 30 relatives in the house on weekends, Dr Andrew Huberman called the joint family the best of circumstances. Americans do not live that way, he said, and his parents' divorce meant his family never shared a roof.
