The origin of the Sindhi song Ho Jamalo

In 1889, the British ruled India. They built a risky railway bridge over the Indus in Sukkur, Sindh. They wanted someone to testdrive a train. Jamalo Baloch was a prisoner, sentenced to hang. He volunteered and asked to be pardoned after the test. Though the bridge sank a little, Jamalo crossed it. Jamalo's wife composed 'Ho Jamalo' in his honour.
