Acharya Surendra Kumar Pandey spoke about the importance of Kalpvaas saying that the one month rituals are very tough and rigorous. The kalpvaasi's are supposed to bathe everyday 2-3 times in river Ganga in cold temperatures and eat saatvik food only one time in a day. He was speaking on The PVT Show with Poonam Vijay Thakkar.
