The Sayyid dynasty ruled Delhi for 37 years

The Sayyid dynasty, the fourth of the Delhi Sultanate, ruled from 1414 to 1451. It was founded by Khizr Khan after the fall of the Tughlaqs. The rulers controlled only parts of northern India, with Delhi as their base. Their reign ended when Bahlul Lodi took over, starting the Lodi dynasty.
