The story of the bite mark on the Apple logo

In 1967 Apple had a logo of Newton sitting under an apple tree. In 1977, Steve Jobs hired designer Rob Janoff to make a simpler logo that would be easier to print. Janoff, who chose an apple as the logo, added a bite mark as the full apple resembled a cherry due to the small size of the logo.
