US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has said, "We told India you have 3 Fridays [to sign the deal]...Later, India called back and said ok we are ready. I said are you ready for the train that left the station three weeks ago?" "You know it's sometime that people are on the wrong side of the seesaw," Lutnick further said.
