The ₹60,000 iPhone 7 costs only ₹15,000 to make

The entry-level 32 GB variant of Apple's latest iPhone 7, which will sell at ₹60,000 in India, costs the company ₹15,067 per unit to make, according to data by UK analysis firm IHS Markit. The figure is higher than an entry-level iPhone 6S launched in 2015, that cost Apple ₹12,594. The iPhone 7 is launching in India on October 7.
