Theranos Founder Elizabeth Holmes was sentenced to 11 years and three months in prison by a California judge on Friday for defrauding investors in her now-defunct blood testing startup. The 38-year-old Stanford dropout was sentenced on three counts of investor fraud and one count of conspiracy. Theranos was once valued at $9 billion, before its collapse in 2018.
