Shut down Silicon Valley-based blood-testing startup Theranos' Founder Elizabeth Holmes, along with former Theranos President Ramesh 'Sunny' Balwani, is set to stand trial next year on fraud charges. The two were indicted in June 2018 on 11 counts of conspiracy and wire fraud. Notably, The Wall Street Journal had first questioned the reliability of the startup's blood-testing device in 2015.
