The Makepeace Island is a heart-shaped island on Noosa River, Australia. The island currently serves as the Australian home of Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson. It also features an island resort with villas, a swimming pool and a theatre. Makepeace Island has been named after its former owner, Hannah Makepeace, who was bequeathed the property by her employer.
