The 27-storey Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort near Shanghai has been nicknamed the 'Horseshoe Hotel' and 'Doughnut Hotel' over its shape. Though the hotel appears to resemble a horseshoe, its bottom ends are connected by two basement levels. The hotel, set on the shores of Lake Taihu, has 321 guest rooms and 39 villas.
