There is an 'underwater waterfall' in Mauritius

A phenomenon which has been dubbed as the 'underwater waterfall' can be seen in the Indian Ocean at the southwest corner of the island of Mauritius. The illusion, which is best observed from the sky, is caused by the run-off of sand and silt deposits. The waterfall effect occurs due to a 'drop-off', influenced by the island's angles and waves.
