There was 'minimum' use of lathi: Police after J'khand protesters lathi-charged

After visuals showed security personnel using lathi charge on student protesters in Ranchi, Rural SP Gaurav Goswami said, "A mild lathi charge was used when some of them attempted to reach the last barricading where Section 163 is already in effect. Minimum use of lathi was made." Apart from lathi, police also used water cannons and tear gas shells.
