German optical systems and optoelectronics manufacturer Zeiss Group's President and CEO Michael Kaschke said that there will always be limits to what a smartphone camera can do. Calling computational photography a "game-changer", he said there's more software to it and less hardware. "There is still a limitation, the smartphone can only be that thick," he added.
