DMK spokesperson Saravanan Annadurai called the Congress "backstabbers" after the latter confirmed talks with TVK for a coalition government in Tamil Nadu. "The five seats they got were because they allied with us; otherwise, they would have drawn flak," he said. When asked if the DMK will end its alliance with Congress, he said, "It's for the Congress to decide."
