The sister of Tanu, who was allegedly killed and buried by her father-in-law in Faridabad, said that Tanu had been facing harassment over dowry. "Tanu came back to live with us...just months after wedding because she wasn't being treated well...When we...sent her back, the torture resumed," she said.
