A thick blanket of haze enveloped Delhi on Tuesday as the air quality remained in the 'very poor' category for the third consecutive day, with a reading of 309, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) said. Areas like Alipur, Jahangirpuri and Wazirpur saw air quality in 'severe' category with AQI at 421, 404 and 404 respectively.
