Thief held after distracting female TTE to steal her mobile phone

Railway Police arrested notorious thief Marad Rasheed for allegedly stealing a female TTE's mobile phone in Shoranur. Rasheed distracted Kollam TTE Sindhu by asking for change for a ₹1,000 note before escaping with her phone. Police caught him within hours and recovered the device. He faces multiple theft cases across Kerala, officials said. He was later remanded to custody.
