UEFA issued a statement after reports said FIFA President Gianni Infantino is planning to sell stakes in World Cup to investors. "This crosses a line that football's governing institutions should never cross. UEFA takes it extremely seriously...The soul and governance of football aren't assets to trade...None of us are the owners of football. It's not FIFA's to sell," it stated.
