Gaurav Sabharwal took up indoor saffron farming after his father's demise when their family business was not doing well. He grows saffron in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, in just a 300 sq ft unit without soil and water and sells it at ₹500 per gm (₹5 lakh per kg) under the Shoolini brand. He also trains others in indoor farming.
