This farmer sells exotic gac fruit at ₹500/kg, earns ₹30 lakh/acre

B Seshu Babu quit his social welfare job in Hyderabad during COVID-19 and returned to his family farm in Andhra Pradesh. Due to declining returns from chilli cultivation, he began gac fruit farming, with saplings imported from Vietnam, in 2023. Today, he sells the exotic fruit to buyers and malls at ₹500/kg, earning ₹30 lakh from an acre.
