Kotak Mahindra Bank's billionaire CEO Uday Kotak has said that the Indian banking sector is currently in what he calls a "Cinderella time". He added, "This is the sweetest credit cycle I have seen for the last many years...The credit cost post-Covid has been very benign." He also said, "It's a good time to underwrite well and grow the economy."
