After quitting a secure job at L&T, Sanjeev Reddy overcame cyclone-induced business losses to build Happy Dukan, a floriculture enterprise. He saw the huge gap between demand and supply of lotus and began its cultivation. Today, the venture grows, sources and sells 108-petal lotuses, roses, marigolds and 20 other types of flowers, clocking ₹65 lakh annually.
