Thousand of people protest in Belgium against rising living costs, clash with police

Thousand of people protested in Brussels, Belgium against rising living costs and budget-tightening measures introduced by the government. Several protesters dressed in black and wearing masks clashed with police throwing rocks and firecrackers at them before setting fire to a pile of city bikes and electric scooters. Police fired water cannons and tear gas at the crowd.
