Over 5,000 people have signed an online petition demanding removal of 'Clive of India' statue from the UK's Shrewsbury town centre. The petition said, Robert Clive, Bengal's first British Governor, "committed mass atrocities and passed catastrophic policies" in the presidency. On Sunday, former slave trader Edward Colston's sculpture in Bristol was pulled down during 'Black Lives Matter' protests.
