Thousands of Serbians marched in silence on Monday in protest against the populist government's reaction to two mass shootings last week. Around 17 people were killed and 21 wounded in two separate incidents last week. The gatherings, dubbed "Serbia against violence", were called by opposition parties, which demanded the resignation of government ministers.
