Thousands of students, teachers protest over education & pay in Greece

Around 10,000 students and teachers protested in Greece on Wednesday, demanding higher education funding, better facilities and less-crowded classrooms. Demonstrations also took place elsewhere in Greece, all voicing their solidarity with growing protests in France and other European countries. The Greek government said projects worth over €733 million were underway to upgrade facilities.
