Thousands of Burmese protested against the military coup in Myanmar on Wednesday in Japan's Tokyo. Union of Myanmar Citizen Association, which organised the protest, called on Japan to not recognise the newly-formed military regime and take a harder stance against it. "We want our leader and our mother Aung San Suu Kyi to be freed," a 50-year-old protester said.
