ICAR-IARI researchers discovered three previously unknown micro-moth species in Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Ladakh. Using DNA barcoding and physical analysis, the moths were confirmed as new additions to the diverse Gelechiidae family. The finding emphasizes the rich, undocumented insect biodiversity of India's mountain ranges.
