TikTok owner plans to invest $1 billion in India despite app ban

Days after ByteDance's TikTok was removed from Google and Apple app stores in India, the Chinese social networking company has said it is planning to invest $1 billion in the country. ByteDance said it has already invested $100 million in Helo, Vigo, and TikTok apps and added it wants to launch another content/entertainment app in India next month.
