TikTok's Chinese parent, ByteDance, has finalised an agreement to form a joint venture in the US to avoid being banned in the country. American and global investors will hold 80.1% of the venture while ByteDance will own 19.9%. Announcing the deal, US President Donald Trump said, "I am so happy to have helped in saving TikTok."
