Having made his first-class debut at the age of 20, it took Yash Dayal almost seven years and 76 first-class wickets before earning his maiden call-up to the national side. Dayal has picked up 18 wickets in seven first-class matches this year, averaging 26.6, including four wickets against India A in Duleep Trophy 2024.
