Norwegian Consumer Council's report on the transmission of user data by 10 apps, including Tinder and Happn, stated they were observed sharing data to at least 135 different third parties. The third parties were involved in advertising and/or behavioural profiling, it added. Most of the apps were found sharing the IP address, GPS location and personal attributes of the users.
