The tip of the spire of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, can be seen from up to 95 km away. The building has a height of 828 metres and is nearly thrice as tall as Paris' Eiffel Tower. The Burj Khalifa, which opened in Dubai on January 4, 2010, is also the world's tallest free-standing structure.
