The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, the trust which manages the affairs of the Sri Venkateswara Temple has said it has 7,325 kg of the yellow metal deposited with two banks and around 1,934 kg gold in its treasury. According to officials, devotees make offerings in the form of cash, gold and silver jewellery, property deeds and even demat shares.
