Police arrested TMC leader Ajit Saha from North 24 Parganas after a businessman accused him of extorting ₹20 lakh. During a raid at their residence, officials recovered 143 rounds of 7 mm ammunition, 60 empty cartridges, 560 bullets, ₹27 lakh in cash, and 52 bottles of foreign liquor. His brother, Sujit Saha, a land broker by profession, was also arrested.
