The ED has arrested former West Bengal minister and TMC leader Sujit Bose in connection with a money laundering case linked to the municipal recruitment scam. He was arrested after over 10 hours of questioning. The case involves the alleged handing out of municipal posts in exchange for cash during Bose's tenure as vice-chairman of South Dum Dum Municipality (2010-2021).
