TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee criticised Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman calling her world's "worst finance minister". "Just like a 'kal nagini' (killer venomous snake) bites and kills people, her (Sitharaman's) economic policies are killing the country's economy," said Banerjee. Reacting to the remarks, Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh said TMC leaders are "uttering nonsense out of frustration".
