Bike-borne gunmen fatally shot Mohammed Rahi, a Trinamool Congress panchayat pradhan, as he exited the Panjipara panchayat office in West Bengal's Uttar Dinajpur district on Wednesday. He succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital in Siliguri. According to the police, Rahi had a dispute with a group of people in the area over setting up a market complex.
