TMC candidate and Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim has secured victory in the West Bengal Assembly polls from Kolkata Port seat. He secured 1,01,226 votes and defeated BJP candidate Rakesh Singh, who secured 45,146 votes, by a margin of 56,080 votes. In 2021 Assembly elections, he secured landslide victory, polling over 1 lakh votes. Hakim holding the seat continuously since 2011.
