TMC MLA Kunal Ghosh was suspended from the West Bengal Assembly for the day after he interrupted rebel TMC chief whip Akhruzzaman during the discussion on the Home and Hill Affairs Budget. Following Speaker Rathindra Bose's order, Ghosh was forcefully escorted out of the House by marshals. Minister Tapas Roy also proposed that Ghosh be suspended for this session.
