The Tamil Nadu government on Friday ordered all private clinical establishments to allocate 50% of their total beds to the treatment of COVID-19 patients. This is applied to all categories including ICU, oxygen beds. Tamil Nadu has reported 18,692 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, taking the tally of active cases at 1,15,128.
