Madras High Court has ruled that private schools in Tamil Nadu cannot have any tie-up with private agencies to conduct coaching classes for competitive exams like NEET and IIT-JEE during school hours. It also prohibited school authorities from compelling students to join coaching classes by schools and taking excess fee than fixed by the Private Schools Fee Determination Committee.
