Twin brothers Ramnath and Laxmanakanth from Tamil Nadu's Salem have developed a 'Shield-X' machine to sterilise everyday objects.The machine offers thermal, fogging, UV and fume-based sterilisation options and is designed in such a way that it can be used as a vending machine in schools and other public spaces. They got the motivation to build it after the COVID-19 pandemic.
