Filmmaker Anil Sharma recalled his conversation with Sunny Deol when he met the actor for 'Gadar 2'. "I told him, 'You should do this film....You deserve to charge ₹50 crore per project. This film would help you achieve that," he said. Anil added that nobody in the industry imagined that the film would go on to become a "historic hit".
