Former Australian cricketer Tom Moody, who had coached SunRisers Hyderabad from its inception in 2013 to 2019, has returned to the franchise as the director of cricket. Trevor Bayliss will continue as the head coach of the franchise. Under Moody's coaching, SunRisers had won the IPL in 2016 and finished runners-up in 2018.
