Colonel Ahsan Daksa, one of the senior-most Israeli army commanders, has been killed in a blast in northern Gaza, announced the Israeli military. The incident occurred in Jabalia area when an explosive struck Daksa as he left his tank, military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said. Another battalion commander and two others were wounded in the incident, he added.
