Instant noodles brand ‘Top Ramen’ has been withdrawn from the Indian market on orders from central food safety regulator FSSAI. An advisory was released on June 8 by FSSAI on product safety testing of all instant noodle products after unsafe levels of Monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead were found in Maggi noodles. Subsequently, Knorr was also withdrawn from the market.
