A top Russian military official, Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik, was killed on Friday after an explosive device detonated in his car in Balashikha, near Moscow. A video of the blast has also surfaced online. Notably, the timing of the explosion coincided with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff's Moscow visit. Last December, another Russian official was killed in a bomb blast.
